Everything you need before you fly.
Check-in
Airport check-in opens three hours before departure and closes one hour before, on every international flight. Boarding gates close 20 minutes before departure and are not reopened.
Bring the card you paid with, or a copy of it, if you booked online for someone else.
Special assistance
Tell us at least 48 hours before departure if you need wheelchair assistance, help boarding, or travel with a medical device. Requests made at the airport cannot always be met.
Travel documents
You are responsible for holding the documents your destination requires. Carriage may be refused if they are missing, and a refused entry is not refundable.
- A passport valid for at least six months beyond your date of travel.
- Any visa or entry permit your destination requires for your nationality.
- Proof of onward or return travel, where the destination asks for it.
Infants and children
An infant is under two years old on the date of travel and sits on an accompanying adult's lap. Each infant must travel with an adult, and one adult may carry one infant.
An infant takes no seat, but the booking fee applies to every passenger on the booking, infants included. Children aged 2–11 travel in their own seat.
Restricted items
- Power banks and spare batteries — cabin only
- Sharp items — hold only
- Flammable liquids and gases — not accepted
- Liquids in the cabin — containers of 100 ml or less
If you are unsure about an item, ask before you pack it rather than at the airport.
